Students of all ages, including the youth and middle school programs are also receiving plenty of playing time on the turf. Physical education classes and the Mileage Club walking program have now been expanded to take advantage of the new turf. The Revere Band also held a very successful competition on the new turf. It has been a great experience for all students. This spring the Relay for Life and other community events are also planned including numerous scheduled sporting events.

In addition to the great utility our new turf has provided, our community has also enjoyed a tremendous sense of pride and accomplishment. It is our hope we can utilize this pride and "CAN DO" attitude to support our children, schools and community with additional efforts as needed in the future.

It has been our community goal to raise privately $650,000 towards improvements at the Revere Stadium. The response to our fund raising efforts has been tremendous and we are very grateful to the Revere Community for its generous support and enthusiasm for this wonderful project. As of March 26, 2010, approximately $588,000 has been pledged by 235 different local families, businesses and organizations! Although great progress has been made in such a short period of time, additional money still needs to be raised. We only have $62,000 to go to reach our goal! To those of you who have supported this project, we are extremely grateful!
